Join Yelp as we explore the magical world of beekeeping with our friends at Bees in the D on top of the Shinola Hotel.

During this virtual hive tour you will discover how integral honey bees are to our food systems, how pollination and honey go hand in hand, and how incredible these misunderstood creatures really are.

You'll get a virtual inside view of the hive and learn how a hive works and thrives. All of this will be broadcast live from on top of the Shinola Hotel's rooftop where Bees in the D has four hives.

Bees in the D is a non profit organization located in downtown Detroit. It represents a cooperative effort between residents, schools, organizations and businesses in the Metro Detroit area to contribute to both the health of honey bee colonies and the education of their importance to our environment.
